Peter Turnley

Peter Turnley has extensive work experience in various roles within the industry. Peter started their career at International Paint, serving as a Senior Chemist and later as a Project Leader. In 1998, they joined Cristal where they held several positions, including Field Sales/Key Account Manager, Senior Buyer, and Global Category Manager. At Cristal, they also served as the Global Feedstock Strategy and Sourcing Manager and Global Process Chemical Manager. In 2019, they joined Tronox as the Global Feedstock Manager and later became the Commercial Director - Rare Earths, leading their strategic entry into the rare earth business.

Peter Turnley earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors degree in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University in 1990. In 1990, they completed a Post Graduate Research Project in Civil Engineering at Iowa State University. Later, from 2000 to 2003, they obtained an MBA from The Open University.
