Michael Shields is an accomplished procurement professional with a strong track record in strategic supply chain management. Currently serving as Vice President of Procurement and Head of Procurement & Strategy at Tropic since July 2020, Shields has played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and profitability, contributing to its $8 billion acquisition. Shields has also served as Vice President of Procurement at MX and held significant leadership roles at Qualtrics, including Global Head of Procurement for Real Estate & Facilities. In addition to corporate roles, Shields has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Brigham Young University, specializing in Operations and Global Supply Chain Management. A graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Global Supply Chain Management and an MBA from the W. P.
