Wouter van Wijk

Wouter van Wijk is an accomplished journalist and media professional with extensive experience in both traditional and online journalism. Currently working as a freelance journalist for Trouw since March 2022, Wouter also serves as the head editor for Dekortsteweg.nl, overseeing the website's journalistic content since August 2019. As a product owner and developer at Fiper.net since January 2018, Wouter contributes to an innovative news app praised for its user experience. Additionally, Wouter has been a co-owner at Edeas since January 2018. Prior experience includes significant roles at AD NieuwsMedia, where Wouter was a general reporter and online journalist from 2004 to 2018, as well as online editorial positions at FNV Bondgenoten and ownership of MediaVilla.
