James Walker

James Walker has worked in a variety of roles across a range of industries since 1996. James began their career as a Rugby Player for the London Scottish Rugby Club, before joining Accenture as an Analyst in the management consulting strategy team. In 2002, they moved to Dunrene Group as an Investment Analyst. In 2006, they joined Blue Sky Capital as an Equity Partner, where they focused on identifying, assessing and executing opportunities, as well as assisting with fund raising and group strategy. In 2011, they moved to ANZ as Head of Private Capital Group. In 2015, they joined Record Point as Director, where they focused on corporate finance, advisory and private equity for mid cap private and listed companies. In 2017, they founded and became Director of 153 East Partners, an independent investment firm with investments across a number of businesses and projects. In 2021, they joined Trovio Group as Head of Distribution, Australia.

James Walker attended Oundle School from 1987 to 1992 and then the University of Oxford from 1992 to 1995.
