Daniel Akrap

Daniel Akrap is an experienced embedded software engineer currently working at TROX GmbH since June 2022. Previously, Daniel served as a software engineer at A.S.T. Leistungselektronik GmbH from November 2018 to June 2021, focusing on the development, evaluation, and testing of device firmware and user software. Earlier roles include a scientific assistant at the Berlin Institute of Technology, where responsibilities included reverse engineering and retrofitting embedded systems for stroke therapy. Daniel also contributed as a student research assistant, developing integration concepts for network technologies in medical devices. Additionally, Daniel has experience in driver development for haptic interaction devices during a prior tenure at the Fraunhofer Institute. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Freie Universität Berlin and a Bachelor of Engineering in Technical Computer Science from Berlin University of Applied Sciences.
