Long

Long Ma is an Associate Professor at Troy University, specializing in data mining and machine learning, with a focus on big data, deep learning, and natural language processing. From 2013 to 2017, Long earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia State University, where they established a data ETL system and developed algorithms for text classification. They also have prior experience as a Data Science Intern at CareerBuilder, contributing to projects involving job classification systems and cross-lingual text classification. Long has been actively involved in student organizations, serving as an advisor for both the Chinese Student Association and the Computer Science Club at Troy University since 2018 and 2019, respectively.
