Dane Viljoen

Dane Viljoen is a seasoned professional in the gold and financial services sectors, currently serving as Chief Revenue Officer at Troygold since March 2018, where innovations in digitizing physical gold bullion enhance modern financial systems. Previously, as Executive Director at Blyvoor Gold, Dane led the acquisition and revitalization of the historically significant Blyvooruitzicht Gold Mine. Dane's early career includes an internship at Goldman Sachs in Mergers & Acquisitions and co-founding Randlord, a company specializing in gold ore recovery. Dane holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Investment Management from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Economics from NYU Stern School of Business.
