Cliff Horn is a seasoned public information officer with extensive experience in marketing and communications. Currently serving at the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana since December 2011, Cliff is responsible for developing and delivering educational programs and outreach initiatives that cater to the information needs of members and stakeholders. Prior to this role, Cliff worked as a marketing consultant at Whodeeni Marketing, where media plans for radio and print campaigns were created. As the marketing and promotions director at WAY-FM, significant station promotions were conducted across multiple markets. Earlier positions include local store marketing coordinator at LifeWay Christian Resources and creating marketing materials for the military edition of Financial Peace University at The Lampo Group. Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing with a minor in Advertising from Union University and an Associate of Business Administration from Southwest Mississippi Community College.

TRSL is the state's largest public retirement system, providing services and benefits to more than 160,000 individuals. Founded in 1936, TRSL is a governmental defined benefit plan qualified under Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as a public trust fund to provide retirement benefits for its members. TRSL is funded by member and employer contributions and earnings from investments. TRSL is governed by a 17-member Board of Trustees.
