Umer bin Ajmal

Umer Bin Ajmal is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Producer at TRT World since June 2021. Prior to this role, Umer worked as a Reporter for The Quint from June 2018 to January 2020 and held positions as an Assistant Multimedia Producer at Dawn.com, both from June to October 2016 and from June 2014 to April 2016. Umer also produced content for Geo TV Network for a brief period in 2016 and reported for Express Tribune in 2013. Umer's academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Journalism and Media Across Cultures from the University of Hamburg, a Master of Arts in Journalism, Media and Globalisation from Aarhus University, and a Master's degree in Journalism from the Institute of Business Administration.
