Dirk Schmuecking

Dirk Schmuecking is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in technology investment and corporate strategy. As the Managing Director and Founding Partner at Yttrium since July 2015, Dirk focuses on growth equity investments in IndustrialTech and FinTech, particularly for software and Internet-enabled businesses in the DACH region. Dirk serves on the board of multiple companies, including riskmethods, movingimage, and Cellcontrol. Previous roles include Senior Advisor at DS Tech Advisory, Principal positions at Investcorp and General Atlantic, and a Senior Manager role at Infineon Technologies. Dirk Schmuecking holds an MBA from INSEAD and a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität München.
