Don Powers

Don Powers is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and public information roles. As Co-Founder and Board member of obdEdge LLC since July 2009, Powers has played a pivotal role in developing the flagship product, cellcontrol, a patent-pending device designed to prevent drivers from using their phones while driving. Prior experience includes serving as Public Information Officer for Congressman Richard Baker from September 2005 to March 2006, where Don Powers was instrumental in disseminating critical information following Hurricane Katrina. Additionally, from 1986 to 2004, Powers held the position of Executive Vice President at the Chamber of Greater Baton Rouge, contributing to regional development and community engagement.
