Deron Schmidt

Deron Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Deron began their career in 1990 as a Cryptologic Linguist in the US Army. In 1998, they joined Micron Technology where they held various software engineering roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer for MES Software, Release Acceptance Testing Service Owner, and Software Project Lead - Deployment. During their time at Micron, they designed, developed, and maintained Business Process Management systems, implemented C++ servers and user interfaces, performed root cause defect analysis, and managed test platforms. In 2019, Deron worked as a Contract Software Engineer at TEKsystems. Deron later joined Truckstop.com in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer before moving to Engage Technologies Group Inc. in 2021 as a Senior Engineer. Currently, they are working at Truckstop as a Lead Software Engineer.

Deron Schmidt has studied Computer Science at the University of Idaho. Additionally, they have also pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the same institution.
