Dan Larson

Dan Larson is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in propulsion systems and aerospace technology. Currently serving as the Director of Propulsion at True Anomaly since January 2025, Dan previously held various leadership roles at Ursa Major, including Senior Director of In-Space Propulsion and VP of Engineering. Dan's career includes notable positions at SpaceX, where development on the SuperDraco Propulsion System was led, and General Atomics, focusing on satellite propulsion. Dan also contributed to academia as a Part-Time Faculty Lecturer at Loyola Marymount University. With advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University and Loyola Marymount University, Dan's expertise encompasses both practical engineering and teaching in the field.
