Stephen Kitay

Stephen Kitay is the Senior Vice President of Space Defense at True Anomaly, a role they have held since 2025. They served as an Active Duty Military Officer and Developmental Engineer/Program Manager in the United States Air Force from 2002 to 2008, and worked as a Technical Intelligence Officer for the U.S. Government from 2008 to 2011. They were a Professional Staff Member for the House Armed Services Committee from 2011 to 2017, and subsequently held the position of Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy at the United States Department of Defense from 2017 to 2020. Kitay is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and serves on the Board of Advisors for both the National Security Space Association and the Space Force Association. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of West Florida.
