Jon Buffington

Jon Buffington has over 25 years of experience in various technology roles. Jon is currently the CTO at True Anthem, where they oversee the real-time analytics and predictive social publishing solution for media companies. Prior to this, they founded Fuse Elements, LLC and served as the Founder from 2011 to 2017.

From 2007 to 2011, Buffington worked as the CTO at Juice Analytics, where they contributed to the development of data analytics solutions. Before that, they held the role of CTO at Informiam, LLC from 2006 to 2007 and VP of Products from 2003 to 2005, leading the development of software for Fortune 500 contact centers.

Buffington also founded Sanjuro Software in 2002, focusing on using artificial intelligence and web technologies to improve financial service company applications. Prior to that, they held various technology roles at S1, Synchrologic, Bear Creek Technologies, Savant Software, and Information Management, gaining experience in product management, software development, and leading technical teams.

Jon Buffington obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, Math, and Statistics from Northwestern University, where they attended from 1984 to 1988. In addition, they have obtained multiple edX Honor Code Certificates, including one in Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark from edX in July 2015. Jon also holds certifications in Scalable Machine Learning and Statistical Thinking for Data Science and Analytics from edX.
