Priya Kumar

Priya Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the creative field. Priya is currently working as a Creative Head (GM) at Balancehero India since October 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Creative Head (DGM) from February 2020 to October 2021 at the same company.

From 2013 to 2020, Priya worked as a self-employed Creative Consultant. During this time, they collaborated with numerous international and national clients such as IBM, Tutuka, Entrepreneurs' Organization, FSDAfrica, and more, helping them enhance their visual appeal through design solutions.

In 2015, Priya also worked as a Creative Consultant at eLearningArt, where they employed creative thinking and graphic design to promote and advance product offerings for the company's online library of e-learning related images and graphic solutions.

Prior to their self-employment and eLearningArt role, Priya worked as a Creative Head at IDEASUGAR ADVERTISING PRIVATE LIMITED from January 2012 to March 2013. Priya also served as the Head of Media Design at ITpreneurs from May 2011 to December 2011, where they were responsible for defining product-category-wise stylistic and design approaches for international e-learning projects.

Before that, Priya gained experience as a Senior Art Director at Rediff.com India Ltd. from August 2008 to April 2011 and as an Art Director at Saatchi & Saatchi from April 2006 to August 2008. Priya also worked as a Senior Visualizer at Rediffusion Y&R from April 2004 to March 2006 and as a Visualizer at MullenLowe Lintas Group from July 2003 to March 2004.

Priya started their career as an intern at Mudra Communications from May 2002 to July 2002.

Priya Kumar attended Carmel Convent School in Delhi from 1990 to 1995 but did not obtain any specific degree or field of study during this time. Following their schooling, they enrolled at Lady Shri Ram College for Women from 1995 to 1998, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Later, from 1999 to 2003, Priya studied at the College of Art in Delhi, acquiring a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Commercial Art.
