True Form Projects CIC are happy to announce that they been awarded a grant by The Heritage Lottery Fund for the Youth Generations Project, looking at the history of South Asian Youth Culture. The project begins in 2017 and is in partnership with Birmingham Museums and Art Gallery, Birmingham City University and the Library of Birmingham.

True Form Projects CIC was set up in 2012 to provide a benefit to communities by the collection of oral histories and other artefacts and stories. We target but are not specific to, the diasporic communities from South Asia in Britain.

In our first project Four Fathers we sought the parallels and differences between generations and communities and use a variety of different media to present these outcomes and also empower communities to see their progression and valuable input within British society. www.fourfathers.org.uk

We are currently looking to add to our organisation from our steering group to our volunteers.
