Alex Gold

Alex Gold is a partner at True Platform, an angel investor, and the former regional (APAC) head of executive search at S&P Global. Alex has also worked as a consultant for technology at Korn Ferry.

Born in San Francisco, Alex has always had a passion for technology. After studying economics at UCLA, they started their career in executive search with Korn Ferry in 2007. Alex then moved to S&P Global in 2012, where they headed executive recruitment in the region for five distinct business units across APAC. In 2015, they left S&P Global to start Quantum Search Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., a leadership hiring company for growth companies in tech. Alex sold Quantum Search in 2017 and is now a partner at True Platform.

Alex Gold's educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in European Politics and Geography from the University of Nottingham. Alex then continued their education at King's College Cambridge, where they earned their degree in political science.

They are on a team with Phil Diamond - Partner, Dan Hampton - Partner, and Richard Rogers - Partner. Alex Gold reports to Joe Riggione, Co-CEO.
