DJ Rich

DJ Rich is a machine learning engineer and founder at True Theta, which they started in 2023 to create AI systems that enhance pricing, recommendations, and decision automation for data-driven companies. Prior to this, DJ spent five years as a senior research scientist at Lyft, where they designed and maintained causal models for forecasting and budgeting. DJ also has experience as a quantitative researcher at Coastland Capital and has consulted hedge funds on machine learning trading strategies. They earned their education at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2013 to 2014.
