Karl Ask

Karl Ask has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they hold the position of Product Director at Truecaller since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at SG - Digital from August 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining SG - Digital, Karl held various roles at NYX Gaming Group Ltd, including Project Manager from January 2016 to July 2019 and Head of Products from November 2012 to December 2015. In these roles, they were responsible for delivering new installations and updates of the NYX Portal product suite, working with outsourced development teams, and delivering software to the largest online casinos in the U.S. market.

From April 2011 to October 2012, Karl served as the Head of Gaming Services at Ongame. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at bwin Games AB from March 2008 to March 2011, where they managed and developed B2B integration interfaces and negotiated service deals.

Earlier in their career, Karl worked at Entraction as a Product Manager from June 2006 to December 2007 and as a Key Account Manager from May 2004 to May 2006. Karl also gained experience as a Trainee at the Consulate General of Sweden in 2003.

Karl's professional journey began in the Swedish Armed Forces, where they served as a Military Police in the Royal Life Guard Dragoons from August 1996 to June 1997.

Karl Ask received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business and Economics from Lund University School of Economics and Management, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Social Science (B.S.Sc.) degree in Media and Communications at Lund University from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Karl has obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
