Jesse Smith

Jesse Smith has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jesse began their career in 2004 at Thomson Reuters, where they held various positions such as Operations Analyst, Financial Analyst, Lead Financial Analyst, and Manager in Capital & Project Accounting. In 2012, Jesse was promoted to Sr. Manager, overseeing a global team in Bangalore, India, and Eagan, MN, providing capital, projects, and fixed assets support. In 2014, they became Director of Central Controllership - US, followed by Director of Enterprise Controllership in 2016. Jesse then joined Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC in 2018 as Director of Finance for Enterprise Services. They were later promoted to Senior Director of Finance before transitioning to TrueCommerce in 2022. At TrueCommerce, Jesse held the position of Director of FP&A and is currently serving as the VP of Finance Transformation.

Jesse Smith obtained an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, completing the degree from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics from the University of Minnesota Duluth, studying from 1999 to 2003.
