Brad Wendkos

Brad Wendkos is the founder of TrueFire, a company that offers a wide range of guitar lessons and resources to guitarists worldwide. Brad started the company in 1991 and has since built a faculty of over 500 top guitar artists and instructors. TrueFire has become known as the largest and most comprehensive selection of guitar lessons available. In 2019, Brad Wendkos also founded TrueFire Studios, which includes several brands, websites, and social networks catering to over 3 million music students, pro musicians, and fans from around the world.

Brad Wendkos started their education in 1969 at the Vancouver School of Art, where they studied art for one year. Brad then attended Intermedia in 1969-1970 to specialize in multi-media. From 1971 to 1972, they pursued their artistic interests further at Pratt Institute. In 1972-1973, Brad studied at The New School before enrolling in The Long and Winding ... from 1973 to 1980 to focus on music. No specific degree was mentioned for any of these educational experiences.
