Ankit Jain

Ankit Jain is a seasoned professional in the field of research and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research Manager in Generative AI at Meta since August 2020. Ankit leads a 50-member team focused on multimodal research and deployment, specializing in voice modeling, safety in media products, and computer vision. Ankit's prior roles at Meta include Engineering Manager for Generative AI Safety and machine learning projects for Facebook and Instagram. Ankit also has experience as a Senior Research Scientist at Uber AI, where significant advancements in user level forecasting were made. In addition to these positions, Ankit is an investor and advisor for multiple companies including TrueFoundry, Ultrahuman, GrowthSchool, and Cognizer Inc. Ankit holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a dual degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, coupled with executive education in Leadership and Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
