Robert Grant is a Senior Legal Counsel at TrueLayer since July 2023, leading the Corporate and Commercial legal function. Previously, Robert served as VP, Senior Legal Counsel at GoTo Group from October 2018 to December 2022, advising senior leadership on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance, while supporting international business expansion. Awarded by Asian Legal Business, Robert was part of the team that received multiple accolades, including SE Asia In-House Legal Team of the Year and SE Asia M&A Deal of the Year. Prior experiences include a Supervising Associate role at Simmons & Simmons, where responsibilities covered corporate transactions and regulatory investigations, and internships including a summer vacation scheme at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Robert holds a BA Hons in History from the University of York and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School.
