Spencer Olson serves as the Head of Corporate Finance at TrueLayer since October 2023. Prior to this role, Spencer held various positions in strategic finance at Qonto and Burrow from May 2022 to October 2023 and July 2021 to May 2022, respectively. Spencer started in the finance sector as an M&A Associate at Lazard from January 2020 to June 2021, focusing on Financial Institutions Group (FIG), followed by a similar role at Piper Jaffray from June 2017 to December 2019, concentrating on fintech and FIG as well. Spencer began as an M&A Summer Analyst at Piper Jaffray in June 2016 and was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boston College, where research involved short-selling activism. Spencer earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus in Finance from Boston College between 2014 and 2017.
