Travis Fox

Travis Fox has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Travis is currently employed at TrueLearn, where they hold the position of Software Development Manager since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Frontend Development Lead from September 2018 to January 2022.

Before joining TrueLearn, Travis was the Founder and Web Developer at Kinix Creative, LLC since August 2012. Travis established and managed the company, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and expertise in web development.

From January 2013 to September 2018, Travis worked at ACT as a Web Developer II. In this role, they contributed to the development of a registration system for international students, focusing on responsiveness and accessibility. Travis also played a significant role in maintaining the public website and participating in multiple redesign efforts.

In 2011, Travis gained experience as an Entry Level Web Developer at United Fire Group, where they developed websites using ASP.Net 3.5/C# and ASP. Additionally, they served as a Website Assistant and IT Assistant at UNI Business and Community Services from January 2011 to April 2011.

Travis began their career in the field of IT as a Student IT Assistant at the University of Northern Iowa Fundraising IT office from May 2010 to December 2010. Travis also worked as a Web Developer and IT Assistant at EdgeCore, LTD. from January 2007 to May 2008.

Travis Fox began their education journey in 2005 at Midland University, where they pursued Computer Information Systems as their field of study. After a year, they transferred to Hawkeye Community College in 2006, with a focus on Liberal Arts Core. In the same year, they also enrolled at the University of Northern Iowa, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems from 2006 to 2011.
