Horst Mueller

Horst Mueller has a long and varied work history, beginning with a Research Scientist position at Indiana University Bloomington in 1993. Horst then went on to work at TRIUMF as a Research Scientist in 1996. In 1998, they moved to the University of Colorado Boulder as a Research Scientist. In 2000, they joined Agilent Technologies as an R&D Software Engineer and worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Eksigent Technologies LLC as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2007, they moved to Lumidigm as a Senior Scientific Programmer. In 2008, they joined HID Global as a Senior Staff Scientist and Manager of Corporate AI Development. Finally, in 2021, they became the Staff Computer Vision Engineer at Truepic, responsible for the design and development of machine learning algorithms.

Horst Mueller received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Theoretical Physics from Goethe University in 1993. Prior to that, they obtained their Diploma in Physics from Goethe University in 1989.
