Christopher Gibson

Christopher Gibson is currently the SVP and Head of Strategic Risk at Truist, where they oversee critical risk management strategies. Previously, they have held roles such as Risk Execution Quality Assurance Director and VP - Audit Director at Truist, and have extensive experience in liquidity, capital management, and risk auditing from their tenure at BB&T. Christopher also gained valuable legal experience through internships with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Governor's Office of General Counsel and McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC. They hold a Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, and Finance from James Madison University, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude with Distinction.
