Jon Bayers

Jon Bayers is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience in third-party risk management and regulatory compliance. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and TPRM Senior Risk Manager at Truist since September 2022, Jon previously held the title of Vice President and Third Party Risk Officer at Wintrust Financial Corporation. Prior to that, Jon worked at EY as a Manager and Senior Consultant, focusing on risk assessments for a large credit card issuer. Jon's career also includes advising financial institutions on regulatory compliance at CrossCheck Compliance LLC and representing clients in litigation at the Law Offices of Cathy Pilkington. Jon began the career at ComEd as a Technical Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
