Michael Deas

Michael Deas is a Vice President and GCO Senior Risk Advisor II at Truist, where they have undertaken various roles, including Regulatory Reporting Governance Manager and Business Unit Risk Advisor II. Michael has a strong background in risk consulting and internal audit, previously serving as a Risk Consultant in Wealth BURM and as an Internal Audit Manager. They also gained diverse experience in the accounting field, working as an Accounting Assistant at Steve Smith CPA and completing internships with Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and PPD. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
