Michele Settle

Michele Settle is the Deputy General Counsel for Employment at Truist, where they previously held the positions of Associate General Counsel and Senior Associate General Counsel from 2019 to 2022. Prior to joining Truist, they served as Employment Counsel at SunTrust Bank from 2008 to 2019 and as a Partner at McGuireWoods from 1998 to 2008. Michele began their career as an Associate at Vandeventer Black LLP from 1996 to 1998. They earned a BS from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce in 1993 and a JD from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1996.
