Peter Phillips

Peter Phillips is currently the Divisional CISO at Truist, overseeing Corporate Functions, the Enterprise Data Office, Corporate Cyber Security, and Enterprise Operations. With a solid background in cyber security and risk management, Peter has held leadership roles at organizations such as Wells Fargo and Bank of America, where they led various security initiatives and technology assessments. A Naval aviator, Peter has extensive military experience, including deployments during Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, and is an alumnus of the Bank of America Technology MBA Leadership Development Program. They continue to enhance their expertise through ongoing education at the United States Naval Academy and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
