Sean Oberer

Sean Oberer is currently a graduate student in the Data Science and Business Analytics program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they maintain a 4.0 GPA. Previously, Sean held various roles at Truist, culminating in the position of Fraud Analytics Manager, VP, and has experience as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist in Fraud Strategies & Analytics. They also worked as a Quantitative Analytics Intern at Wells Fargo and gained analytical experience through internships with Charlotte 49ers Athletics. Sean began their career as a Summer Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and served as an Event Specialist at ON24. After graduation, they intend to pursue a career in the sports industry as a statistician or analyst.
