Sharon Hackett

Sharon Hackett is an experienced project management professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Project & Initiative Management at Truist, Sharon played a pivotal role as a Lead Project Manager on the Merger of Equals Project Team, facilitating the merger of SunTrust bank and BB&T. Prior to Truist, Sharon held managerial positions at NTT America, where policies for the Project Management Office were developed, and at Verio, where a Release Management Department was established. Sharon's earlier experience includes technical project management roles at ChoicePoint, Applied Card Systems, American Express, and Mellon Bank, with a strong background in leading cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Sharon holds a degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
