Sam Farooki

Sam Farooki is an experienced energy executive with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Sam began their career at Coastal Corporation/El Paso Merchant Energy in 1983, where they held various positions including Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Marketing. In 2002, they left Coastal to become an independent consultant.

During their time as a consultant, Farooki has been involved in several business ventures, including oil terminals in Canada, the US, and the Mediterranean. Sam also helped start a fuel marketing operation in India that supplies fuel oil to over 100 captive power plants and industrial users. In addition, they served on the board of a joint venture with a Bangladeshi company to supply fuel to power plants in the country.

Farooki currently serves on the advisory committee at TruMarx Data Partners.
