Ted Murphy

Ted Murphy has been an Advisory Committee Member at TruMarx Data Partners since August 2019. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Baker & McKenzie from September 1996 to August 2019, where they worked in the International Trade Compliance practice. In this role, they provided advice to multinational companies on various customs compliance issues, particularly those related to international trade agreements and customs valuation matters. Ted also advised clients on origin issues related to government procurement and provided customs and other regulatory advice in connection to corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. Ted has a wealth of experience working with colleagues in other practices and in other jurisdictions on multi-disciplinary customs compliance issues.

Ted Murphy received their Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and their Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.
