Lars Jensen currently serves as the Head of Optical Development Coating and Project Lead at TRUMPF since June 2021. Prior to this role, Lars held multiple leadership positions at Laser Zentrum Hannover e.V. (LZH) from September 2005 to May 2021, including Head of Optical Components Department, Head of Laser Components Department, Head of Coatings Group, and Head of Characterization Group. Lars started at LZH as a Student Scientist from November 2003 to August 2005 and also gained experience as a Working Student at WEDECO AG Water Technology from July 2003 to March 2004. Lars Jensen earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on Laser Damage in oxide thin films for the UV from Leibniz Universität Hannover, following a Dipl.-Phys. degree in Physics obtained from the same institution between 2000 and 2005.
