Dan Summers has an extensive work experience in digital marketing and acquisition roles. Dan currently works as the Head of Acquisition at Trust & Will, where they are responsible for developing strategies to help families create and manage their estate plans online. Prior to this, Dan worked at JibJab as a Sr. Manager of User Acquisition from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they held various positions at FTD Companies, including Director of Digital Marketing and Sr. Manager of Digital Marketing and SEO. Dan also worked as the Director of SEO at Elevated, an Incubate.com company, and as a Sr. Specialist of SEO at Geary LSF. Throughout their career, they have been involved in managing SEO, SEM, display, and social media campaigns, implementing cross-channel strategies, and providing strategic analysis and SEO audits for clients.
Dan Summers obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business/Marketing from San Diego State University. In addition, they have completed several certification courses, including the Curalate Certification Course from Curalate in October 2016, the "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I" course from Coursera in December 2014, the "Programming for Everybody (Python)" course from Coursera in December 2014, the BrightEdge Certified course from BrightEdge in August 2014, and the "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship" course from Coursera in March 2014. Dan also enrolled in the Computer Science 101 course at Stanford University.
