Neng Gu

Neng Gu has over 27 years of work experience, starting in 1994 with Nortel Networks as a Senior Engineer. They then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IP Unity from 2001 to 2003. From 2004 to 2005, Neng served as an Engineering Manager at IP Unity. At Movius Interactive Corporation, they held multiple roles, including Engineering Director from 2006 to 2007 and Director of Engineering from 2007 to 2008. They returned to Movius Interactive Corporation as an Engineering Director from an unspecified date to 2009.

At RGB Networks, Neng worked as a Principal Engineer from April 2009 to November 2009 and subsequently became a Manager of Software Engineering from November 2009 to December 2011. They then joined Imagine Communications as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering from February 2015 to June 2016.

From July 2016 to February 2018, Neng Gu served as a Senior Engineering Manager at OpenX, where they were responsible for the development of the Video Ad Exchange product and managed a team of full-stack engineers.

Their most recent role is at TrustArc, where Neng started as an Engineering Manager in April 2018. They progressed to Engineering Director in September 2019, managing 20+ engineers and overseeing the development of several SAAS-based privacy products. Currently, Neng is the VP of Engineering at TrustArc, leading engineers in multiple locations across the US, Canada, and Europe and in charge of software development for several SAAS-based privacy products.

Neng Gu pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Louisiana Tech University, completing the program between 1992 and 1994.
