Simon McMahon

Simon McMahon has worked in the IT industry since 1995. Simon began their career as an IT Support Analyst and Desktop Publisher at Amersham International plc. In 2000, they joined Macquarie Group as a Business System Support Analyst. Simon was promoted to Senior Desktop Specialist in 2001, where they provided IT solutions for the Funds Management, Mortgages, Margin Lending and IT aligned account teams. In 2004, they worked on a short-term contract at City & County of Swansea as a Windows Deployment Engineer. From 2005 to 2013, they held the role of IT Project Manager at Macquarie Group, managing complex migrations and the Next Generation Desktop Program. In 2013, they took on a contract role as Technical Project Manager at EE, where they were responsible for the Supply Chain project to improve the mobile phone handset returns process. Since 2014, they have been employed as a Project Manager at Trusted Data Solutions, LLC.

Simon McMahon began their educational journey in 1993, when they attended the University of South Wales and earned a Higher National Diploma in Computing. In 2004, they attended APM Group and earned a Prince 2 Foundation & Practitioner certification. Simon also attended Microsoft and earned a Microsoft Certified Professional Windows 2000 certification. In 2005, they attended Macquarie In-house training courses. In 2007, they attended Kepner-Fourie and earned a Problem Solving & Decision Making certification. In 2008, they attended Rogen SI and earned a Presentation Skills Program certification. In 2009, they attended LIW Consulting and earned a Technical Leaders Program certification. In 2012, they attended Management Consultancy International and earned a Certificate IV in Project Management certification. Finally, in 2013, they attended PMI and earned a PMP certification.
