Scott W. has over 15 years of experience in the field of software and information security, currently serving as the Managing Director of Software Security at TrustedSec since November 2012. Scott has progressed through various leadership roles within TrustedSec, including Practice Lead and Team Lead of the Software Security Team, and has worked as a Senior Principal Security Consultant. Previously, Scott played a key role as a CTF Creator and Organizer for DerbyCon from September 2010 to September 2019, and held positions such as Senior Information Security Engineer at Diebold Nixdorf and Senior Penetration Tester at SecureState. Early in the career, Scott contributed as a Web Developer for Fulton Homes and a Web Application Developer for Grand Canyon University, following initial work as an Information Systems Consultant at Norwalk Furniture Corporation.
