Sharon Fox

Sharon Fox, CIP, CRM has over 8 years of experience in the insurance industry. Sharon began their career as a Claims Adjuster at TD Insurance in 2013. In the same year, they joined Aon Risk Solutions as an Account Coordinator and later as an Account Executive - Mining, Power & Utilities. In 2017, they became the President & Principal Consultant of Mitigate Consultants, a boutique consulting firm. In 2019, they joined Indio Technologies Inc. (Acquired by Applied Systems) as a Senior Account Executive and in 2020, they joined TrustLayer as the Director of Business Development and then as the VP of Partnerships & Strategy. In 2021, Sharon became a Member of Partnership Leaders and in 2022, they were invited to join the Forbes Business Development Council as a Council Member. Sharon is also currently an Insurtech Advisor for three privately held insurtechs.

Sharon Fox, CIP, CRM's education history includes a Chartered Insurance Professional certification from the Insurance Institute of Canada from 2012 to 2013, a Business Administration - Insurance certification from Seneca College from 2010 to 2013, and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM/ARM) certification from the University of Toronto from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they hold certifications in Digital Marketing from CampTech (2017), Entrepreneurship 101 from MaRS Discovery District (2017), and Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario from the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) (2017).
