Per Wigren is a seasoned Senior PostgreSQL DBA with extensive experience in database management, ETL development, and data architecture. They began their career as a UNIX sysadmin at Internet Communications AB and later held DBA roles across multiple organizations including Danderyds Sjukhus AB, Snowmen Solutions AB, Klarna AB, and Derivco Sweden, where they managed large-scale PostgreSQL databases and implemented significant performance improvements. Currently, Per serves as a Senior PostgreSQL DBA at Trustly, continuing to leverage their expertise in database optimization and data flow design.
