Patrick Shannon has an extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Patrick began their career in 2008 as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). In the same year, they also worked as an Aeronautical Engineering Intern at Aurora Flight Sciences. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant Coach at Phillips Academy and as a Supervisor & Analyst at Orbital Sciences Corporation. In 2011, they founded and became the CEO of Drivana Incorporated. From 2014 to 2016, they were the Vice President at SpaceQuest Ltd and Co-Founder & Advisor at a Stealth Aerospace Startup. From 2018 to 2020, they were the Vice President at Astro Digital, where they led the development and launch of the world's first 16U cubesat, the Palisade Mission. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of TrustPoint, Inc.
Patrick Shannon attained a Master of Science (MS) in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University between 2013 and 2016. Patrick also earned an SB in Aerospace Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2010. Prior to that, Patrick Shannon attended Phillips Academy from 2000 to 2005.
