Lourdes Johnson

Lourdes Johnson has a vast work experience spanning over several industries. Lourdes is currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Industry Analyst Relations at Trustwave since February 2021. Prior to their current role, Lourdes worked at Splunk as the Global Analyst Relations Director for Security from July 2016 to February 2021.

Before Splunk, Lourdes gained significant experience at Symantec Corporation, where they held the position of Senior Manager for Security AR Programs from October 2007 to July 2016. Lourdes led the company's Security portfolio, including various markets such as Endpoint Protection Platforms, Secure Email and Web Gateway, Data Loss Prevention, Enterprise Mobility, Data Protection, Cloud, and IAM. Lourdes also successfully integrated AR programs for the company's acquisitions.

Lourdes further contributed to Veritas, which was later acquired by Symantec. At Veritas, Lourdes managed the global AR program for key products in Enterprise Backup & Recovery, Email Archiving, E-Discovery, and Symantec's endpoint security solution.

Prior to their tenure at Symantec and Veritas, Lourdes was an Analyst Relations Senior Specialist at BMC Software from November 1999 to January 2005. Lourdes managed AR programs for systems management solutions and was involved in the execution of the company's first Industry Analyst Summit.

In their earlier career, Lourdes worked as a Public Relations Specialist at New Dimension Software, which was eventually acquired by BMC. Lourdes initially managed the company's PR program and worked on various press releases, product launches, customer case studies, and user group conferences.

Lourdes began their professional journey at Entrepreneur Magazine as a Writer, Researcher, and Editorial Assistant. Lourdes contributed research and articles for different features of the magazine, including Franchise 500, 40 Under 40 Leaders, Millionaires Under 30, and Entrepreneurs Across America.

Lastly, Lourdes started their career at Nordstrom as a Department Manager, where they managed all aspects of the Petite Department. Lourdes began as a sales associate and achieved top performance. Lourdes also worked at Nordstrom's data center for a period, focusing on promotional copy and assets for the southern California regions.

Lourdes Johnson earned a High School Diploma from Mayfair High School in 1984, where they took Advanced Placement courses. Lourdes then attended UCLA from 1984 to 1989, earning a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature.
