Matt Gerig

Matt Gerig is a Software Engineer with extensive experience in application development, particularly in C++ and C#. Currently employed at Trustwell since June 2021, Matt maintains a legacy MFC C++ application for tracking nutrition information and is involved in the full-stack development of its next-generation replacement in C# and TypeScript. Prior experience includes a role at FLIR Systems, where C++ MicroBlaze code was written for design verification testing, and UI feature implementation in QT/QML for thermal imaging products. Matt also served as Principal Software Engineer at Variant Systems Group LLC and held a long-term position as Staff Software Engineer at Grass Valley, focusing on Windows C++ and C# application development for video products. Early career experience includes internships at Serena Software and Freightliner. Matt Gerig earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University in 2001.
