John Purcell has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. John started their career at Westinghouse Corporation in 1971, where they held multiple roles such as Business Manager, Product Manager, Materials Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Sales Engineer. John then transitioned to Perimeter Church in 1989, serving as Staff Director and later as Executive Pastor. At Perimeter Church, they oversaw all ministry and business operations, including a significant relocation project. In 2006, John joined Transform, LLC, a consulting and coaching organization, where they worked as a Leadership Coach, Organizational Health Consultant, Governance Coach, and Church Consultant. Currently, they are involved with Truth@Work as an Executive Coach and facilitator for Christian Business Leader Roundtables.
John Purcell earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering, which they attended from 1966 to 1971. John then pursued further education in Law, obtaining a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where they studied from 1973 to 1977.
