Truth Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization researching foundational early childhood education systemic problems. Together with our partners, we find solutions that result in financially self-sustaining, thriving learning centers that prioritize educator-first policies and the well-being of the children served.

Our research is guided by a soil-first theory of change. In nature, soil must be tended before plants can grow. In early childhood education, the “soil” includes both the educators themselves and the conditions in which their work takes place. When the soil is neglected, burnout, turnover, and instability are inevitable.

Educator depletion is driven by two intertwined forces: the emotional intensity of caregiving and the financial instability embedded in the child care business model. Truth Education Foundation researches how these forces interact, and, more importantly, how they can be addressed together.

Our research explores educator-first approaches that integrate wellbeing, professional empowerment, and workplace culture with a financial sustainability engine that supports long-term viability.

We examine how compensation structures, benefits, operational models, and leadership practices can create environments where restoration is not temporary, but structurally supported.

Through research, partnerships, and public education, Truth Education Foundation elevates the lived experiences of educators and sets up learning centers to be financially self-sustaining. We collaborate with practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and community organizations to build evidence-informed pathways toward stable, humane, and sustainable early childhood systems where educators, children, families, and communities can all thrive.
