Anna Funsten

Anna Funsten is a data analyst at Truth Initiative, beginning in October 2021. Previously, Anna completed a Data Science Fellowship at General Assembly, where over 20 assignments focused on data-driven and machine learning projects, culminating in a capstone project involving neural networks for classifying eardrum images. Anna has extensive experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner, having worked at McKnight Pediatrics and Hinsdale Pediatric Associates, where responsibilities included conducting well-child exams, physicals, and patient education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Anna’s earlier work at Lincoln Pediatric Center involved independent practice in pediatric care. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, a Master's degree in Pediatric Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and a Data Science Immersive program from General Assembly.
