Mark Kalus is the head of product for storage insights and actions at Amazon S3. Mark is responsible for overseeing S3's 'Insights & Actions' product portfolio, which includes Storage Lens, Inventory, Lifecyle and other features that help customers analyze their storage and take the appropriate next action to optimize it. Mark also held prior roles at Amazon related to advertising analytics and measurement.
Kalus is also an investor and advisor to early stage technology startups. Mark is an investor in Popwallet, and was instrumental in its successful exit to a confidential publicly traded company.
Prior to their current role, Kalus served as the senior director of product management at Jet, where they were responsible for Jet’s portfolio of marketing technology products/capabilities to drive customer growth strategies. During their time at Jet, they hired and trained a new team of product managers focused on marketing technology, and established an agile software development process that helped them scale the productivity and output of their engineering team. Mark also developed a vision and roadmap for an internal customer data platform (CDP) that unified off-site advertising, email, and on-site personalization in a single system.
Mark Kalus has an MBA from New York University - Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree from Xavier University. Mark also attended Saint Ignatius High School.
